Finders Keepers (U.S. game show)

Finders Keepers is a children's game show that debuted on Nickelodeon in 1987 and later aired in first-run syndication starting in 1988. The show featured two teams of two children attempting to find hidden objects in different rooms of a house.

The Nickelodeon version premiered on November 2, 1987 and was hosted by Wesley Eure. Following this version's cancellation, Larry Toffler hosted a syndicated version that premiered on September 12, 1988.

Finders Keepers is a computer game written by David Jones and the first game in the Magic Knight series. It was published on the Mastertronic label for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, Commodore 64 and Commodore 16 in 1985. It was published in the United Kingdom at the budget price of £1.99.

On the ZX Spectrum it sold more than 117,000 copies and across all 8-bit formats more than 330,000 copies, making it Mastertronic's second best-selling original game after BMX Racers.

Finders Keepers (band)

Finders Keepers were an English band, featuring then future Trapeze members Glenn Hughes, Mel Galley, and Dave Holland.

Hughes later sang for Deep Purple (with whom he also played bass) and Black Sabbath (on the album Seventh Star and part of its supporting tour). Galley later played guitar for Whitesnake. Holland later played drums for Judas Priest.

Finders Keepers released several singles, including a cover of " Sadie, The Cleaning Lady" in 1968.

A search was made to find an actress to play the Spanish girl who falls for Cliff. The 21-year-old Viviane Ventura won the role: born in London, but fluent in Spanish, she sang a spirited duet in the film with Cliff: Paella.

Finders Keepers (Australian TV series)

Finders Keepers, also known as The Finder , is an Australian children's television show, directed by Scott Hicks, that first aired on 28 October 1991, based on a book by Emily Rodda. The story revolves around a boy called Patrick who, whilst playing on a computer, receives an invitation to take part on a TV game show called "Finders Keepers" through a store in a shopping arcade. He accepts the invitation and is sucked into another world where he is given clues to find missing treasures from his own world and take part in an interdimensional hunt.

The show aired on ABC TV and covered the book in two seasons, each consisting of five episodes.

Finders Keepers is a children's game show broadcast by the BBC from 1981 to 1985. The show combined a quiz element with a computerised version of the game Battleships.

Two teams of three primary school-aged pupils would compete against each other. On scoring a "hit" at the Battleships game, the team had to answer a question to gain the associated points.

The show was also notable for host Richard Stilgoe playing the theme on a synthesiser live in the studio at the beginning, as well as the use of the phonetic alphabet to indicate the square on the battleship grid.

The game of Battleships was played on a 7x7 grid and ran on a BBC Microcomputer.

According to the Kaleidoscope Children's Guide, some editions of the series were wiped from the BBC archives in 1993.

Finders Keepers is a song by You Me At Six which was released as a single on 25 May 2009. The song was released on their Myspace account on 8 April. A music video was released for the song on 22 April 2009. It was later featured on the deluxe edition of their Take Off Your Colours album along with their next single, " Kiss and Tell", and three B-sides. The song reached #1 in the Kerrang Rock Top 40, and peaked at #33 on the UK Singles Chart on the 31 May 2009. This was their first and only entry to date in the Top 40 Singles Chart until "Rescue Me" in 2011.

In October, the band supported Fall Out Boy for three dates. While rehearsing, the band thought of adding a section of " Sugar, We're Goin Down" during one of their songs. The band's management heard the song and proceeded to suggest the band covering it, to which they agreed.
