What is "festember"

Festember is the annual cultural festival of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NITT). It is a 4-day event held annually in the third week of September. Founded by NITT students in 1975, Festember has now evolved to become one of the largest festivals in South India. Festember through the years has had an annual participant strength of more than 15,000 students from over 500 colleges across India. Festember '15 was the first time more than 60 events were conducted.
