FASTag
FASTag is an electronic toll collection system in India, operated by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
The system was initially set up in 2014 on the stretch of the Golden Quadrilateral between Ahmedabad and Mumbai as part of a larger plan to install it on the Delhi - Mumbai arm of the Quadrilateral. The remaining three branches of the Quadrilateral are reported to be part of the system by 2015. In July 2015, toll plazas on the Chennai - Bengaluru stretch of the Golden Quadrilateral started accepting FASTag payments.
