Fantástico

Fantástico ( Portuguese for Fantastic The Show of the Life) is a Brazilian weekly television newsmagazine broadcast on the nights of Sundays on Rede Globo since August 5, 1973, created by José Bonifácio de Oliveira Sobrinho.

It lasts two hours, including commercials. Currently presented by Tadeu Schmidt and Poliana Abritta, it recognized as one of the best programs of Brazilian television, besides being the most watched program on Sunday.

Fantastico (supermarket chain)

Fantastico (Фантастико) is a Bulgarian supermarket chain founded in 1991. Fantastico is part of the retail sector and primarily sells foodstuffs.

, the company operates 32 stores in Sofia, including a do-it-yourself store and eight cash and carry hypermarkets. Although most Fantastico stores are in the capital, the chain is the main competitor of international chains like Billa in the country. In 2007, Fantastico opened its first supermarket outside the capital, in the town of Kyustendil, in south-western Bulgaria.

Fantastico (web hosting)

Fantastico is a commercial script library that automates the installation of web applications to a website. Fantastico scripts are executed from the administration area of a website control panel such as cPanel. Fantastico's web site claims that they are installed on ten thousand servers, with a million users worldwide.

Hostgator has been accused more than once by clients of adding links to their sites without asking permission that point back to Hostgator. Hostgator has reportedly blamed Fantastico script installers for these unauthorized advertising links.

Fantastico scripts are usually executed when a new website is created, or a new application is added to an existing website. The scripts typically create tables in a database, install software, adjust permissions, and modify web server configuration files. Although Fantastico primarily targets open-source software, a handful of scripts are also available that install proprietary products. Once installed, these are available to all of the domains hosted by a physical server; such as web site builder SohoLaunch, PerlDesk customer support software, and AccountLab Plus software for interacting with Internet registrars.

There are more than 50 applications that have Fantastico scripts associated with them.

Fantastico (variety show)

Fantastico was an Italian Saturday night variety show broadcast by Rai 1 from 1979 to 1991, with an interruption in 1980, when it was replaced by the game show Scacco matto. The TV program was linked with the Italian national lottery, and every edition consisted of 13 episodes with the final episode broadcast on 6 January, with the extraction of the winning tickets.

The show was generally different in its structure from one edition to another; the first edition was seen by an average of 23.6 millions viewers. During the years the ratings dropped, and after a disappointing edition hosted by Raffaella Carrà and Johnny Dorelli (7.8 million viewers) the show was replaced by the variety-quiz Scommettiamo che?.

An attempt to revive the show was made in 1997, but Fantastico Enrico (so titled as a reference to the presenter Enrico Montesano) obtained low ratings and Montesano eventually abandoned the show.

Several opening songs of the show charted, and two of them ( Heather Parisi's "Disco Bambina" and "Cicale") peaked first at the Italian hit parade.
