Extensa

Extensa is a novel written in 2002 by Jacek Dukaj, Polish science fiction writer and published in Poland by Wydawnictwo Literackie. The novel fits in the hard science fiction genre, describing a post- singularity society, where some humans have evolved further while others chose to remain behind.

As usual with Dukaj's works, it deals with highly advanced technology (like EPR paradox, related to the Einstein-Rosen-Podolsky bridge) and its implications for human society.

It is the second of Dukaj's four stand alone novels, and the only one that has not won the Janusz A. Zajdel Award (it was nominated for it in 2002).
