What is "escb-net"

The ESCB-Net is the data communications platform of the ESCB. This infrastructure hosts the applications required for:

• the support of monetary policy;
• ECB foreign reserves operations;
• exchange of statistical and non-statistical data;
• monitoring currency information;
• monitoring counterfeits;
• teleconference system;
• collaboration tools.

The ESCB-Net is dependent on the CoreNet to provide a link between all the central banks.
