Enfranchising

Enfranchise \En*fran"chise\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Enfranchised; p. pr. & vb. n. Enfranchising.] [Pref. en- + franchise: cf. F. enfranchir.]

  1. To set free; to liberate from slavery, prison, or any binding power.
