Elumalai
Elumalai (எழுமலை) is a Panchayat (local self-government organisation in India of the panchayati raj system at the village or small town level) Town in the district of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. The nearest cities are Usilampatti (16 km) and Peraiyur. Elumalai is a beautiful and green town located in the Western ghats, named as Aezhumalai meaning as Seven Hills; which was later changed to Elumalai. The town has many famous and old temples like vasi Malayan temple, shri thiruvenkatanatha swami temple, muthalamman temple, badrakali amman temple, sandana mariyamman temple and maathanthira shri subramania temple and Islam mosque, AG little Church.
