Elasipoda \El`a*sip"o*da\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. ? metal beaten out, metal plate + -poda.] (Zo["o]l.) An order of holothurians mostly found in the deep sea. They are remarkable for their bilateral symmetry and curious forms. [Written also Elasmopoda.]
