''' Elanthoor ''' (Ellangalude Oor) (in Malayalam : ഇലന്തൂർ) is a village in Pathanamthitta district in the state of Kerala, India. The village owns a significant position in ecumenism,with temples and churches ata hand's distance,but not much noticed by others. Elanthoor is the birthplace of the famous actor Mohanlal. Also it is the native place of the famous South Indian actress Meera Jasmine's family)
