The first three of these evolutions, Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon, are the result of Eevee being exposed to either a Water Stone, a Thunderstone, or a Fire Stone respectively. Various evolutions have been introduced in Pokémon games since, including Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon.
