What is "edgewater"

Edgewater is a common name used throughout the world as a place name. It is often found in English-speaking countries such as Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and United States.

Edgewater, released in 1999, is the first album for the Dallas, Texas based band Edgewater. The album was recorded independently, and some of its tracks were included on its follow-up, as well as the band's Wind-up debut.

According to drummer Jeremy Rees, "Our music is like our band name. It's got that edge to it and it's crunchy and really thick in the hardest places, but the overlays and melodies flow like water over the top."

Edgewater is a historic mansion near Barrytown in Dutchess County, New York, United States. The mansion was built in 1825 and is owned by financier Richard Jenrette, who bought the property from author Gore Vidal in 1969.

Edgewater is a contributing property in the Hudson River Historic District. Its two gatehouses were designed by architect Alexander Jackson Davis.

Edgewater is a neighborhood in Miami, Florida, United States, located north of Downtown and Omni, and south of the Upper East Side. It roughly bound by North 17th Street to the south, North 37th Street to the north, the Florida East Coast Railway and East First Avenue to the west and Biscayne Bay to the east.

Edgewater is primarily a residential neighborhood, with many historic early 20th century homes. The neighborhood has many high-rise residential towers to the east along Biscayne Bay, and historic homes elsewhere in the neighborhood. Since 2000, the area has grown in popularity, due to its proximity to Downtown and neighborhoods such as the Design District. Recent developments in the neighborhood, have brought rapid urbanization to the area, with the construction of high-rise and mid-rise residential buildings, and more retail.
