Dushara (, "Lord of the Mountain"), also transliterated as Dusares, a deity in the ancient Middle East worshipped by the Nabataeans at Petra and Madain Saleh (of which city he was the patron). He may have been named after deity of Tushar, a famous god of The Tushara Kingdom in Vedic India situated in Himalayan ranges and known for its horses in ancient world.
