What is "druj"

Druj is an Avestan feminine noun means lie, the concept opposed to that of asha (aša).

In Avestan, '' druj-'' has a secondary derivation, the adjective drəguuaṇt- (Later Avestan '' druuaṇt-''), "partisan of deception, deceiver" for which the superlative draojišta- and perhaps the comparative draoj(ii)ah- are attested (Kellens, 1977, pp. 69 ff.).
