Dreamers is a Bosnian short documentary film produced by the East West Theatre Company and directed by Nermin Hamzagic. The film follows the story of Samir Karić and Amir Muminović, young hip-hop artists from the village of Hajvazi, near the north-eastern Bosnian town of Kalesija. The mayor's son gave the hip-hop duo a bad beating because of their song which criticized municipal authorities. A newspaper report on the incident intrigues East West Theatre Company, a theatre and film production company from Sarajevo. Shortly after the incident, Samir and Amir become part of the cast of Class Enemy a play about disenfranchised youth in a violent secondary school in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Samir and Amir eventually end up touring the world with the East West Theatre Company's production. The film Dreamers is devised as a road movie.
"Dreamers" is the sixth official single taken from English hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks' debut studio album, Stereo Typical. The single was released in the United Kingdom on 3 August 2012. The track was produced by Ant Whiting. The song features a sample from Nirvana's 1968 single Rainbow Chaser. A music video to accompany the release of "Dreamers" was uploaded to YouTube on 25 July 2012, at a total length of four minutes and forty-two seconds. It was directed and filmed by Toby Lockerbie. The video features footage of the duo partying on a desert island with a group of friends. Dappy makes a cameo appearance in the video.
An "Epic Remix" of the track was released as part of the single package. It contains additional verses from Pharoahe Monch, Hines (Rizzle's old rap mentor), Professor Green, Ed Sheeran, Foreign Beggars, Dr. Syntax and Chali 2na. This remix premiered on August 1, 2012, via SoundCloud. The "Epic Remix" received its own additional single artwork, which accompanied its premiere.
Dreamers was the debut studio album by contemporary Christian music band Shine Bright Baby, and it was released by BEC Recordings on July 23, 2013. The album received barely positive reception from music critics.
Dreamers (, also published in English as Mothwise) is a novel by Knut Hamsun from 1904. The novel is among Hamsun's last set in Nordland and it contains many comical and caricatured people and events.
The main characters are the telegraph operator Ove Rolandsen and Elise Mack, the daughter of the " privileged trader" Mack of Rosengaard. This Mack is referred to as a brother of the privileged trader at Sirilund in Hamsun's novel Pan.
The novel was written while Hamsun was living at the Reenskaug Hotel in Drøbak.
In the copy that Hamsun sent to his friend in Bergen, Køhler Olsen, he wrote the following dedication: "This is a book with a priest's wife that misses – me." When he later published the novel Under the Autumn Star (Under Høststjernen), his dedication to Køhler Olsen read "And, dear Køhler, this is a book about a priest's wife that has NOT missed me. Are you so happy?" The copies are held by the university library in Bergen.
