Originally launched in 2010 exclusively for Italian students, it became an international website in mid-2012 by opening to worldwide students. It is advertisement-free and user-generated. Its features include document sharing, networking, news and blogs, video sharing, and a question and answer section.
Docsity provides targeted content and user experience adaptations to users coming from Italy, United States, United Kingdom, Balkans, Spain, South America, Russia, Brazil, Poland, Portugal and Portuguese speaking countries.
