Disulphate

Disulphate \Di*sul"phate\, n. [Pref. di- + sulphate.] (Chem.)

  1. A salt of disulphuric or pyrosulphuric acid; a pyrosulphate.

  2. An acid salt of sulphuric acid, having only one equivalent of base to two of the acid.
