What is "digamarru"

Digamarru is a village in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh State, India. Here there is a famous Shiva temple.Shiva called UMA SOMESWARA SWAMY .Sivaratri festival is celebrated pompously. SriDevi Bhudevi Sahita Venu Gopla Swamy is also present here. The temple is combination of saivalayam and vaishnavalayam. Evey year Bhramo Uttsavam 5 day festival is celebrated from kamada ekadasi falls in the month of April-may. In this temple the people will make puja(prayer) and prasadam, every week bhajana(singing devotional songs with music) in Bala Vinayaka swami temple is famous for surrounding areas of Digamarru.
