Dexlansoprazole ( INN, trade names Kapidex, Dexilant) is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that is marketed by Takeda Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of erosive esophagitis and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. It is similar in effectiveness to other PPIs.
