Devolving

Devolve \De*volve"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Devolved; p. pr. & vb. n. Devolving.] [L. devolvere, devolutum, to roll down; de + volvere to roll down; de + volvere to roll. See Voluble.]

  1. To roll onward or downward; to pass on.
