Desseria is a genus of parasitic protozoa belonging the phylum Apicomplexa. The genus was described in 1995. The species in this genus were previous considered to belong to the genus Haemogregarina.
The species in this genus infect fish. Approximately 40 species are recognised in this genus currently.
