Dešenice is a market town ( městys) in Klatovy District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The town covers an area of , and has a population of 669 (as at 31 December 2007).
Dešenice lies approximately south-west of Klatovy, south of Plzeň, and south-west of Prague.
