What is "delta lake"

Delta Lake is a reservoir in Oneida County, New York, United States. Most of the lake is within the southwest part of the Town of Western, north of Rome, New York. The western part of the lake is in the Town of Lee.

Delta Lake State Park is located on a peninsula extending from the south shore of the lake.

Delta Lake is located in Grand Teton National Park, in the U. S. state of Wyoming. Delta Lake is situated in Glacier Gulch and is fed rock flour (glacial silt) from the Teton Glacier, which turns the water turquoise in appearance.
