There are several places named Deer Lake in Canada and the United States:

Deer Lake is located in Itasca County, Minnesota about north of Grand Rapids and about NE of Deer River. The lake covers and is roughly long and wide.

Deer Lake is fed by three sources: rainfall, underwater springs, and one inlet from Little Deer Lake. It belongs to a chain of pristine lakes, feeding Bay Lake - headwaters of the mighty Deer River (namesake of the town) which feeds White Oak Lake (part of the Mississippi River). Otter, Moose, Little Moose, Fawn, and Cottonwood Lakes also feed Bay Lake.

Often called the "Lake of the Changing Colors", Deer Lake's crystal-clear water displays a wide-range of magnificent colors on sunny days - divulging the locations of its perilous rockbars to unfamiliar boaters. While Deer Lake ranks among the clearest lakes of Minnesota, what distinguishes it from its peers is its many interesting islands. In 1998, the DNR and Deer Lake Association jointly acquired Bear Island to preserve its undeveloped charm. Although bears are rarely (if ever) seen on the island, the presence of an inactive eagle's nest in a large white pine makes the island a popular destination for observing wildlife. Other notable islands include Battleship Island, Star (also known as Picnic) Island, and many others lacking agreed-upon names.

A plethora of wildlife make Deer Lake their abode. The lake's healthy fish population includes several species of muskie, northern pike, walleye, perch, bluegills, sunfish, rock bass, crappie, and largemouth and smallmouth bass. On its surface swim several happy loon families, a variety of ducks, and the infamous Canada goose.

Deer Lake is a small somewhat round-shaped lake in northern Highlands County, Florida. It is just southeast of Luck Lake and about a half mile west of Fox Lake. It has a surface area of 27.78 acres. Deer Lake is bounded on the west by houses and Deer Lake Road. It is bounded on all other sides by Citrus Groves. Since it is surrounded by private property, there is no public access to this lake.

Deer Lake is a lake in the U.S. state of Michigan, located north of the city of Ishpeming. In the 1980, the lake was identified by the US and Canadian governments as one of 43 Areas of Concern (AOC) in the Great Lakes region. High levels of mercury had been detected in the lake and efforts have been made to reduce the amount of mercury going into the lake. As a result of contamination, Deer Lake was designated as a catch and release site, as fish caught in the lake were unsafe for consumption. In late 2014, the lake was delisted as an AOC, one of the first two lakes to be delisted in the state and one of only three AOCs to achieve the status. According to the EPA, the restrictions on fishing were removed as well.

Deer Lake is an all-sports, 137-acre lake along the main branch of the Clinton River. The lake, with a maximum depth of 63 feet, lies within Independence Township in Oakland County, Michigan.

Deer Lake is one of the first lakes the Clinton River flows through, and the first lake in Independence Township, after the river rises in Springfield Township.

The Clinton River enters Deer Lake on the north end just after it passes under I-75. It exits on the south end where it enters into Middle Lake (23 acres), then into tiny Dollar Lake and then, as it crosses under Dixie Highway, into Greens Lake.

Deer Lake connects on its northeast side to 5-acre Dark Lake.
