What is "darkside"

Darkside is a children's novel by Tom Becker, about a boy called Jonathan who discovers a world hidden in London; a world run by Jack the Ripper's family. Only the worst of the worst live here, and all too quickly Jonathan gets mixed up in a world full of murders, thieves and, of course, a werewolf and a Vampire. It was Published in 2007 by Scholastic. It won the 2007 Waterstone's Children's Book Prize and was longlisted for the 2008 Manchester Book Award. Darkside also won the Calderdale Children's Book of the year Award.

Darkside is the first solo comedy album released by the Australian musical comedian Tim Minchin. It was recorded during Minchin's show at the Spiegeltent in Melbourne during 2005. The DarkSide collaboration is an international affiliation of universities and labs seeking to directly detect dark matter in the form of weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs). The collaboration is building a series of noble liquid time projection chambers (TPCs) that are designed to be employed at the Gran Sasso National Laboratory in Assergi, Italy. The detector is filled with liquid argon from underground sources in order to exclude the radioactive isotope , which is makes up one in every 10 (quadrillion) atoms in atmospheric argon. The Darkside-10 prototype was tested in 2012, and the Darkside-50 experiment has been operating since 2013.
