'''DanWatch ''' is an interdependent media and research centre that publishes investigative journalism in the public interest. Danwatch was founded in 2007 by the Danish Consumer Council, World Wide Fund for Nature, Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, Danish Church Aid and the Solstice foundation.

Danwatch publishes investigations into human rights and environmental abuses in six key focus areas, primarily with a focus on developing countries and growth economies in the global south.
