Daha is a Muslim Jat/Rajput tribe, commonly known as "Daha Jat/ Daha Rajput", mainly found in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The Daha mostly live in Khanewal,Rajanpur and MuzaffarGarh district in the Punjab province of Pakistan and also are the earliest settlers of Khanewal. Therefore, the name of "Khanewal" is due to Daha family because this caste was called as "Khans". This is how the city got its name, ‘Khan-e-wal’.
