Cydamus
Cydamus ( Berber: Tidamensi), also known as Cidamus, was a Roman- Berber city in present-day Ghadames, Libya. It was founded in 19 BC and lasted for nearly seven centuries until the Arab conquest. The site contained a fort ( castrum), located on the Limes Tripolitanus.
