What is "crowdsensing"

Crowdsensing is a technique where a large group of individuals collectively share sensor data from any sensor-equipped devices and enable extraction of information to measure, map, analyze, estimate or infer (predict) any processes of common interest. In short, this refers to crowdsourcing of sensor data. Mobile Crowdsensing refers to crowdsensing performed using mobile devices.
