The Conditions (, Konditsii) were an 18th-century constitutional project in Russia, signed by Empress Anna of Russia in Mitau on 18 January 1730, giving substantial power to the Supreme Privy Council. When the Empress returned to Russia, she revoked her approval of the Conditions and dissolved the Supreme Privy Council on the 20th of February. The members of the Council were removed from government and exiled or repressed paving the way for Anna to become an absolute monarch in the model of her uncle Peter the Great.
Conditions is the debut studio album by Australian rock band The Temper Trap, released in Australia through Liberation Music on 19 June 2009. It was later released in the United Kingdom on 10 August 2009. The album debuted at number nine on the Australian Albums Chart, where it has been certified platinum, and peaked at number 25 on the UK Albums Chart, largely due to the success of the debut single " Sweet Disposition", which peaked at number six on the singles chart. The song "Science of Fear" was featured in the EA Sports video game FIFA 10 and the Codemasters racing game DiRT 2.
Conditions is an American rock band from Richmond, Virginia.
Conditions was founded in 2006 by members of the previous local bands Motion Picture Demise, Race the Sun, Scarlet and Forever in a Day (FIAD). The group released its first recorded material in 2007 and played Bamboozle and Warped Tour that same year.
The group signed with Good Fight Music and released their debut full-length, Fluorescent Youth, in September 2010. This album drew comparisons to bands such as Anberlin, Ivoryline, and Saosin. Their sophomore effort, Full of War, followed in March 2013. On November 7, 2013, the band announced on their Facebook page that they were breaking up. Later on July 12, 2014 the band played their farewell show and officially broke up.
On September 4, 2015, the band reunited to play a 5-year anniversary show at the Canal Club in Richmond, Va.
On April 15, 2016 the band announced through Twitter and Facebook that they would be performing 3 shows on June 9, 10, and 11th in Phillidelphia, NYC and RVA respectively.
