Clysma

Clysma or Klysma or Qulzum was a village situated around the northeast Egypt at the northern end of the Gulf of Suez and at the southern terminus of the Suez Canal. Renowned as a transit point for the Roman trade route on land between the Mediterranean Sea ( Pelousion) and the Red Sea, the Port city of Suez today traces back to this village that was existed around 3rd BC.
