What is "cjkr-fm"

CJKR-FM (97.5 MHz) is a Canadian FM radio station broadcasting in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The station airs an active rock radio format branded as Power 97. The station is owned and operated by Corus Entertainment which also owns sister stations AM 680 CJOB and 99.1 CJGV-FM. CJKR's studios & offices are located at 1485 Portage Avenue at Winnipeg's Polo Park.

CJKR-FM is the most powerful FM radio station in Canada, operating at 310,000 watts. Most FM stations in Canada and the United States run 100,000 watts or less. But because CKJR-FM is one of the oldest FM stations in Canada, it was grandfathered at a much higher power. (In Winnipeg, 98.3 CBW-FM also operates at a higher power, at 160,000 watts.)
