Cirrostomi \Cir`ros"to*mi\, n. pl. [NL., fr. E. cirrus + Gr. ? mouth.] (Zo["o]l.) The lowest group of vertebrates; -- so called from the cirri around the mouth; the Leptocardia. See Amphioxus.
