Chromobacterium
Chromobacterium is a genus of Gram-negative rod-shaped bacteria. At least two species within the genus are known, Chromobacterium violaceum and Chromobacterium subtsugae; the latter was discovered by scientists at the Agricultural Research Service in Beltsville, Maryland.
