The King Shock (in Portuguese Choque-Rei) or Palmeiras and São Paulo football rivalry is the football match known among São Paulo clubs Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras and São Paulo Futebol Clube. Is the football rivalry between two very big, classic football clubs. The Derby dates from back from 1930. The tension between both clubs and sets of fans is extremely fierce, and it is considered the second biggest Derby in the city of São Paulo, only behind the Paulista Derby.
In the Choque-Rei, São Paulo has advantage over Palmeiras, including all matches, having won 107 times over 101 victories from Palmeiras, the number of drawn matches is 99, describing an equalised encounter. But in matches counting for the Campeonato Brasileiro, Palmeiras has more victories than São Paulo, reaching 19 wins over 14 from São Paulo, and with other 27 draws.
