ChinaCoal, officially China National Coal Group Corporation (former name: China National Coal Industry Import and Export Corporation), is a coal mining company controlled by State Council of the People's Republic of China. It is the second largest state-owned coal mining enterprise in Mainland China, and the third largest in the world, after Shenhua Group in China and Coal India in India. It is engaged in coal production and sales, coal chemicals, coal mining equipment manufacturing, coal mine design and related engineering services.

Its subsidiary company, China Coal Energy Company Limited (, ) ( Traditional Chinese:中國中煤能源有限公司, Simplified Chinese: 中国中煤能源有限公司), is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Shanghai Stock Exchange. It owns 12 coal mines (9 in operation, 3 under development), 13 coal processing plants, 5 coking plants, 4 coal mining equipment manufacturing plants, and 2 mine design institutes. The chairman is Wang An.

On 16 December 2006, it was listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as H share. On 12 March 2007, China Coal joined Hang Seng China Enterprise Index Constitute Stock. On 7 September 2007, China Coal announced that it would issue A share in the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The capital collected from investors will be used to invest and develop coal mines in Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Hebei and Shanxi. On 24 January 2008, China Coal announced to issue A share at ¥16.83 Chinese yuan per share, with its historical P/E 43.71 times. It was listed in the Shanghai Stock Exchange on 1 February 2008.
