Chapirevula is one of the old villages in Nandyal Mandal of Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Chapirevula is about 3 km from Bommala Satram Nandyal, which is a center for automobiles in rayalaseema region. It is very close to nandyal so in the future it may be the part of nandyal. It is a minor panchayat but this village contains almost 1000 houses.
The origin of this village can be traced back to 15th century from the inscriptions on the walls of the very old Lord Siva Temple. The Kundu River is the main source of irrigation water for this area which made many people dependent on agriculture. After the construction of K C Kenal, this area became very fertile land. There are few well educated but many of the educated left the village to pursue their careers in cities like Nandyal and Hyderabad and foreign countries like the United States of America.
