Chandole is a village in Pittalavanipalem mandal, located in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

A Beautiful village in guntur district. The place of love,integrity and peace. Its more than 11,342 population most of them are serving in Indian Army.

Chandole is the mother land for heroes like Hajji Basha (late kargil hero),MD Iqbal (Serving in Indian Army) and Yousuf Ali (in civil services). CHANDOLE is famous for its culture, tradition and customs.

Chandole is located approximately 35 km from Guntur and 360 km from Hyderabad. It is on the Guntur-Reppale and Tenali-Bapatla state highways. Most of the people depend on agriculture with fertile lands having abundant water from the canals. This village also a military village, and is famous for the Kargil hero Haji Basha, who sacrificed his life in the Karagil war Operation Vijay.

Chandole has a major bus junction that receives buses from Guntur, Vijayawada, Yazali, Buddam, Cherukupalli, Ponnuru, Chirala, Baptala, Tenali, Repalle, Nizapatnam, Bratipolu, and Hyderabad.

The village has a dry fish market and rice, black grain, and mirchi farms. There are also paddy fields surrounding the village. The are six rice mills, two ice factories, and one cold storage milk facility. There are also a spinning mill, a textile mill, and a juice factory under construction.[when?] Chandole is one of the more industrialized villages in the Guntur district.

The primary sources of employment are cultivation, serving in the Indian army, and teaching. There is a significant population of young people with Hi-Tech degrees serving in MNCs as software engineers and architects. There is a mixture of both government and corporate culture in employment and education.

There are seven primary schools, one secondary schools, one junior college, and three tuition centers.

Urdu and Telugu are the primary languages in the village. There are numerous festivals observed in the village: Ramadan (Eid ul-Fitr), Bakr-Idd (Eid ul- Zuha), Muharram, Deepavali, Sankranti, Dasara, Ugadi, Vinayaka-Chaviti, and Christmas.

The Siva Temple and Chinna Kesava swamy temple were constructed during the 10th century. There is a Veda Pathasala, for the propagation of ancient Vedas, maintained by the family members of the late Sri Tadepally Raghavanarayana Pandit. There is a special marriage hall for Muslims name Shaadi Kahana. Other buildings are being constructed, such as the Bandalama temple, which is a pilgrimage shelter, and the function hall.

Politically Chandlole is the biggest village in the Bapatla constituency, and has two prominent parties: Congress and TDP.

TV is the primary source of entertainment for villagers. There is also a movie theatre named Karimulla Theatre, which has closed. People spend their time watching and enacting dramas.
