Chadra is a Lebanese village of villages in the State of the North Lebanon. Located in a pool of villages called Al dourayb.
The village is situated at a distance of 146 km from Beirut at an altitude of 450 m above sea level and an area of 651 hectares, surrounded by Akroum from the east, the west Owainat, from the north Mashta hasan and Andaket from the south . Can be accessed in two ways, namely: Halba - Alkwychera - beere - Kobayat - Andguet and Chadra, and Halba - Alkwychera - Menjez - remmeh - Chadra. Chadra characterized by mild climate in summer and winter and the presence of several archaeological sites and tourist most notably the presence of remnants of seven old grinders, and was an old center to group the armies and was considered as center catering to them, as was a home of one of the conquests of Prince Fakhr al-Din.
The estimated agricultural area is about 5 hectares. Olive and grain plantations are most common produce of the village. There is a factory for the production of coal from chiming, in addition to small shops for food and daily necessities purposes. There are three churches (Church of Our Lady of the Greek Orthodox, Church of the Cross for the Greek Catholics and the Church of Mar Elias of the Greek Orthodox).
There is one school in a school Chadra St. Theresa for the Sacred hearts, and there's Chadra dispensary of the Ministry of Social Affairs (06-800325), and a center for civil defense.
On cultural terms, Dr. Josephine Al Kawle has issued a book titled "History of Chadra", and Mr. Rami Ibrahim issued a book entitled "Chadra families." There are also libraries in a recent study of the engineer Antoinette ghattas took the municipality in general.
