Devilfish \Dev"il*fish`\, n. (Zo["o]l.)
A huge ray ( Manta birostris or Cephaloptera vampyrus) of the Gulf of Mexico and Southern Atlantic coasts. Several other related species take the same name. See Cephaloptera.
