What is "cauliculus"

Cauliculus \Cau*lic"u*lus\ (k[add]*l[i^]k"[-u]*l[u^]s), n.; pl. Cauliculi (-l[imac]). [L. cauliculus little stalk, dim. of caulis.] (Arch.)
