Căuaş (, Hungarian pronunciation: ) is a commune of 2,350 inhabitants situated in Satu Mare County, Romania. It is composed of six villages:

- Căuaş

- Ghileşti / Illéd
- Hotoan / Érhatvan
- Răduleşti / Újtanya
