Carinola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about northwest of Naples and about northwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,164 and an area of .
The municipality of Carinola contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Ruosi, Ventaroli, San Donato, Casale di Carinola, Nocelleto, S. Croce, Croce di Casale, and Casanova.
