Cacoxene \Ca*cox"ene\, Cacoxenite \Ca*cox"e*nite\, n. [Gr. kako`s bad + ????? guest.] (Min.) A hydrous phosphate of iron occurring in yellow radiated tufts. The phosphorus seriously injures it as an iron ore.
