What is "brattleby"

Brattleby is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 111 having slightly fallen from a figure of 113 quoted at the 2001 census. It is situated north from Lincoln, to the west of the A15, and near to RAF Scampton.

In 1981 the village was designated a conservation area.
