Bota is a mukim in Perak Tengah District, Perak, Malaysia. It comprises two geographical areas: Bota Kiri and Bota Kanan (Left Bota and Right Bota, respectively) as it is divided by the Perak River. There is a river terrapin breeding centre at Bota Kanan. Bota is also well known for its durian fruit. The town has over fifteen mosques.
Bota is a 2014 Albanian drama film directed by Iris Elezi and Thomas Logoreci. The film was selected as the Albanian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards but it was not nominated. The directors won the Fedeora Award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2014 for this film.
