What is "boshe"

Boshe is a village in Shanwei, eastern Guangdong Province, China. The village has been in existence from at least the 13th century.

For years it had been an inexpugnable production centre for meth as well as ketamine. It was nicknamed "The Fortress" as a consequence. After years of patient infiltration the Beijing authorities finally raided it successfully in December 2013.
