Borodianka
Borodianka is an urban-type settlement in Kiev Oblast ( province) of Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Borodianka Raion. Population: . In 2001, population was 12,535.
The town is notable for its private aviation airfield (one of the few in Ukraine) and "Borex" excavator-manufacturing company (being the only important industry in Borodianka). During the Cold War it was home to the Borodianka Air Base.
