Born Again (Black Sabbath album)

Born Again is the eleventh studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath, released in August 1983. It is the only album the group recorded with lead vocalist Ian Gillan, best known for his work with Deep Purple. In addition, it was also the last Black Sabbath album to feature original bassist Geezer Butler prior to his departure in November 1984, although he did return to the band in 1991 to record Dehumanizer. The album has received mixed to negative reviews from critics, but it was a commercial success upon its 1983 release, reaching No. 4 in the UK charts. The album as well hit the top 40 in the United States.

With Black Sabbath opting against recording a follow-up to 13, Born Again is the final studio album with Bill Ward.

Born Again (comics)

"Born Again" is a 1986 comic book story arc that appeared in the Marvel Comics series Daredevil. Written by Frank Miller, and drawn by David Mazzucchelli, the storyline first appeared in Daredevil #227-#231. It was later reprinted in graphic novel format along with a follow-up story arc from Daredevil #232-233, which resolves some loose ends from the original story arc. Because of this, this follow-up story arc has become generally considered part of "Born Again".

The story details Daredevil's descent into insanity and destitution at the hands of the Kingpin, as well as his subsequent struggle to build a new life for himself.

Born Again (The Notorious B.I.G. album)

Born Again is the third studio album and the first posthumous album by The Notorious B.I.G. It was released on December 7, 1999. It is composed primarily of early recorded verses with newer beats and guest rappers.

The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 485,000 albums sold in the first week, and was later certified Double-platinum on January 14, 2000. Born Again received generally mixed reviews from music critics.

Born Again (Warrant album)

Born Again is Warrant's seventh studio album released in 2006. The album features ex- Black N' Blue vocalist Jaime St. James who replaced Jani Lane in 2004. Lane left the band due to personal and business disagreements and thus, Born Again is the first Warrant album not to feature him on lead vocals. The album was produced by internationally acclaimed producer and engineer Pat Regan ( Kiss, Deep Purple, Mr. Big, L.A. Guns) and also features the return of original members, lead guitarist Joey Allen and drummer Steven Sweet

The track "Bourbon County Line" was released as the albums first single, followed by the second single "Dirty Jack".

Born Again (The X-Files)

"Born Again" is the twenty-second episode of the first season of the American science fiction television series The X-Files. It premiered on the Fox network on April 22, 1994. "Born Again" was written by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa, and directed by Jerrold Freedman. The episode featured guest appearances by Brian Markinson and Maggie Wheeler. The episode is a "Monster-of-the-Week" story, a stand-alone plot which is unconnected to the series' wider mythology. "Born Again" earned a Nielsen household rating of 8.2, being watched by 7.7 million households in its initial broadcast, and received mixed reviews from critics.

The show centers on FBI special agents Fox Mulder ( David Duchovny) and Dana Scully ( Gillian Anderson) who work on cases linked to the paranormal, called X-Files. When Mulder and Scully are called to New York to investigate the death of a police officer, they come to believe that a young girl present at the incident may be the reincarnation of another officer murdered years earlier.

Several crew members disliked the episode, most notably writer Howard Gordon and David Duchovny. Gordon felt that the episode was too similar to the other episodes that had been aired, whereas Duchovny bluntly stated that he "detested" the episode.

Born Again (film)

Born Again is a 1978 American biographical film depicting the involvement of Charles W. Colson in the Watergate scandal, his subsequent conversion to Christianity, and his prison term stemming from Watergate. It starred Dean Jones as Colson, Anne Francis as his wife, Dana Andrews as Tom Phillips, Harry Spillman as President Nixon, former Senator Harold Hughes as himself, and George Brent in his final film. The director was old Hollywood classic filmmaker Irving Rapper, and the film was released by Avco Embassy Pictures. The cinematography was by Harry Stradling Jr.

The film's title theme song "Born Again", with music by Les Baxter and lyrics by Craig Johnson, was sung by Larnelle Harris.

Born Again (Newsboys album)

Born Again is the fourteenth studio album by the Christian rock band Newsboys. It was released on 13 July 2010 and is the first full-length album with lead singer Michael Tait. The group released a special five-track preview EP, also titled Born Again, on 5 January 2010. Four tracks from the EP appeared on the album. The exception, and first single released, was "I'll Be", which was made available on deluxe versions of the album. The album was later reissued as Born Again: Miracles Edition in April 2011, which featured 5 new songs and 4 remixes. The album produced one music video for the title track.

Written by Mac Powell and composed by Third Day, "Born Again" was released as the third and final single from Third Day's 2008 album Revelation. It was included on the compilation album WOW Hits 2011.

"Born Again" met with positive critical reception, with many critics praising Mosley's vocals.
