In Buddhism, bodhicitta (; , putixin; , bodaishin; , Wylie transliteration: byang chub kyi sems; ; Vietnamese: Bồ-đề tâm), "enlightenment-mind", is the mind that strives toward awakening, empathy and compassion for the benefit of all sentient beings.
